In a further initiative to build the Alanic Victorian Premier League Grand Final into a large scale showcase event for the league, Football Federation Victoria (FFV) announced that pre-purchased tickets will be cheaper than in previous years, and will be made available for purchase online via the FFV website from Monday 26th July.

Football Federation Victoria CEO, Mark Rendell, said he hoped the price reduction would make the Grand Final accessible for everyone.
“We’re thrilled to be able to showcase Premier League football at Victoria’s world-class football venue, AAMI Park, and we’re delighted to announce these special pre-purchase prices to make it affordable for everyone to come along,” Mr Rendell said.
“We want to make this an annual event - the biggest day on the Victorian football calendar.
“It will be a fantastic day for not only the supporters of the four clubs involved, but all Victorian football fans, as they will be treated to a great day of football entertainment at this amazing facility.”
The Premier League Grand Finals will be played on Saturday 11th September, with the women’s match kicking off at 3pm, and the men’s to follow at 7pm.
In a further announcement, FFV confirmed the date, time, venue and ticket price for FFV’s Black Tie Gold Medal Night function.
